กรมประมงแจ้งเตือนเกษตรกร เฝ้าระวังโรคระบาดปลาจากสภาพอากาศในช่วงฤดูหนาว โดยมีคำแนะนำดังนี้
1. เกษตรกรควรวางแผนระยะเวลาการเลี้ยงปลาให้เหมาะสม หรือควรงดเว้นการเลี้ยงปลาในช่วงฤดูหนาว
2. ควรมีบ่อพักน้ำที่เพียงพอในการใช้ในฟาร์มตลอดฤดูกาล โดยเฉพาะในช่วงฤดูหนาว
3. เลือกชนิดปลาที่จะเลี้ยงให้เหมาะสมกับฤดูกาล โดยในช่วงฤดูหนาว ควรเลือกปลาที่มีความเสี่ยงต่ำต่อการเกิดโรคระบาด เช่น ปลานิล ปลาจีน และปลาไม่มีเกล็ด ที่สำคัญ ควรลดความหนาแน่นของปลาที่ปล่อยลงเลี้ยง และหมั่นตรวจสุขภาพปลาอย่างสม่ำเสมอ
4. ควบคุมปริมาณการให้อาหารอย่างเหมาะสม โดยลดปริมาณอาหารลง 10-15% เนื่องจากช่วงอุณหภูมิต่ำปลาจะกินอาหารน้อยลง หากมีปริมาณอาหารเหลือจะสะสมตามพื้นบ่อ ทำให้น้ำเน่าเสีย เกิดก๊าซพิษ และมีผลกระทบต่อสุขภาพปลา นอกจากนี้ อาจเสริมวิตามินซีในอาหาร 1-2% เพื่อเสริมสร้างความแข็งแรง ต้านทานโรค และลดความเครียดของปลา
5. ควบคุมคุณภาพน้ำในบ่อ โดยใช้ปูนขาวในอัตรา 60-100 กิโลกรัมต่อบ่อขนาด 1 ไร่ หรือใช้น้ำเกลือแกงประมาณ 100-150 กิโลกรัมต่อไร่ในการปรับสภาพน้ำ
6. หากพบปลาที่เลี้ยงป่วยหรือมีอาการผิดปกติ ควรแยกออกไปเลี้ยงและรักษาแยกต่างหาก หากป่วยหนักอาจต้องทำลายทิ้งเพื่อป้องกันการแพร่ระบาดของโรคในวงกว้าง หากปลาในแหล่งน้ำธรรมชาติมีความผิดปกติ ควรปิดทางน้ำเข้าและหยุดการเติมน้ำจากธรรมชาติเข้าบ่อทันที
7. หากไม่สามารถเปลี่ยนถ่ายน้ำได้ในระหว่างการเลี้ยง ให้ควบคุมปริมาณการให้อาหาร
8. หากพบว่าน้ำในบ่อเริ่มเน่าเสีย โดยสังเกตว่ามีก๊าซผุดขึ้นมาจากพื้นบ่อ ควรใช้เกลือสาดบริเวณดังกล่าว ประมาณ 200-300 กิโลกรัมต่อบ่อขนาด 1 ไร่
9. หากพบปลาตายในบ่อเลี้ยง ให้กำจัดโดยการฝังหรือเผา
10. เมื่ออากาศเริ่มเข้าสู่สภาวะที่เหมาะสม (อุณหภูมิของน้ำสูงขึ้น) และพบว่าปลาในธรรมชาติเป็นปกติ ไม่มีอาการป่วย ควรเปลี่ยนถ่ายน้ำตามความเหมาะสม และให้อาหารปลาได้ตามปกติ

Monitor fish diseases due to winter weather
1. Farmers should plan the fish farming period appropriately or consider refraining from farming fish during the winter season.
2. Ensure there is enough water storage for farm use throughout the season, especially during winter.
3. Choose fish species that are suitable for the season. During winter, select species with a low risk of disease outbreaks, such as tilapia, carp, and scaleless fish. It's important to reduce stocking density and regularly monitor fish health.
4. Control the amount of feed provided, reducing it by 10-15% because fish eat less during cold temperatures. Leftover feed will accumulate on the pond floor, causing water to deteriorate, leading to toxic gases that can harm fish health. Additionally, supplementing 1-2% vitamin C in the feed can boost strength, enhance disease resistance, and reduce fish stress.
5. Monitor water quality by using quicklime at a rate of 60-100 kilograms per 1-rai pond or using cooking salt (100-150 kilograms per rai) to adjust water quality.
6. If any fish show signs of illness or abnormal behavior, isolate them for separate care and treatment. In severe cases, the fish may need to be destroyed to prevent the spread of disease. If wild fish in natural water sources show abnormalities, immediately close the water inlet and stop adding water from natural sources to the pond.
7. If water changes cannot be made during farming, control the amount of feed provided.
8. If the water in the pond begins to spoil, evidenced by gas bubbles rising from the pond floor, use salt to treat the affected area, approximately 200-300 kilograms per 1-rai pond.
9. If fish die in the pond, dispose of them by burying or burning.
10. Once the weather reaches suitable conditions (water temperature increases) and natural fish show no signs of illness, change the water as needed and resume feeding as usual.
